Been out for a trip on me new boat today and noticed when we stopped after about 40 mins there was steam coming off the top of the sterndrive when water washed over it, is this normal,or if not whats wrong. As you look over the back of the boat it was a square looking plate on the top of the drive.
2nd question, when filling the gearcase oil do you do it from the bottom plug hole or the top which says vent?
Never had an inboard before so any help appreciated.
