MG ZT @ stupid money

Hi gang,

just had a call from a mate of mine. his company have been offered 1st option on all the existing Rover & Mg stock.

As far as i understand it that includes the BMW lumped 4.6Litre 300bhp MGZT (thats the cool version of the 75 that Mr Clarkson loved isnt it???). various colours, climate, leather all the usual kit.

i'm told they are circa £8000. No warrenties obviousely, but heh, they listed @ £35000 this time last month!

I'll probably get laughed off the forum for posting this....but i just thought, if the 300bhp is £8k, what they asking for the normal stuff???

Certainly sounds cheap, depends if it's new or not. A friend of mine has just been chewed up by Rover to the tune of EUR520,000. I'll ask him if there's any liquidation stock available.

Explains why it's so cheap, we'll soon see the auctions and car supermarkets flooded with them then.
