Hi guys,
I've just bought my fist Phantom 21 with a 225 Optimax on the back, incl. a trailer.
Boat and engine from '98, both only having done about 25 hours so pratical new package, so I am really
Only to be used for skiing and other water activities..

Payed €15500/ £9600 for it - hope it's a ok price?
Picking it up on friday.

What is the weight of this package - the engine is around 230 kg and the boat?? I am guessing approx. 600kg.

Hoping she will run in the early 70's..? what do you think?

She comes with a HighFive prop - but thinking of Laser for a higher top end.
Where can I buy props online, anyone?

I think a rigged, std lay up P21 weighs in the region of 700 Kilos (with V6 power)

Looks like a lovely boat Lars!

How much does the new concrete lay up weigh? :well:
Sorry Captain

Jonny - only 700kg incl. power?? That's very light!!
Good thing, I weigh in at a good 102kg

I really want to remove the "bracket/hinge" from which the former owner had his 2,5hp Mercury Sailpower on - used to go fishing in it !!
Do I just remove the bolts and screw them back in after removing the "bracket/hinge" or do it add some filler an paint the transom??? any ideas??

does it have any form of cabin in it? (re:deck hatch) I know Steve did a few like that, but they must be pretty cosy!

Very cosy indeed!!
It only for storage - however it should be possible to build a little "shelter" - can't see a reason why!??!

Just been past Martins workshop Power Products Marine, he has a very nice white new Cyclone outside for sale. Considerably lighter than ?

Hope this helps.

yeh.............i know all about the cyclones. very nice indeed.

not fancy one yourself?

As it happens a good mate of mine has just taken delivery of a 21 this weeek for the ski racing world championships in June, may have a drive this weekend.

I thought that Martins ones........the black twin and Backdraft the blue i/b were superb........the level of craftmanship was top draw................unfortunatly at the time...they where top money.

I read in SB & Rib, they are slightly more affordable now
