Got my New Yam 90A!

Still at dealer's basement, three storeys below ground level, will be at my garage monday.

Not bad a price in malta Lm 2350, about 3600 sterling. I will post the pics of it as it is being assembled onto my trusty Crusader.

Ok, First Problem Encountered

Ok, New Engine on,

We went yesterday out to commence the Break In procedure!

On turning of the key to the 'ON' position, the overheat warning lamp started to flash - no buzzer sounded though.

I have new oil, petrol and spark plugs in (NGK - BR8HS 10). Can it be because I used a 45 Ahr battery instead of the recommended minimum 70 Ahr one?

You did put oil in the petrol tank ?!

Yes - I Did

I premixed oil in the petrol tank at 50:1 as detailed in the owner's manual.

It says it needs double oil during the break-in, in order to mate surfaces evenly.

Have you any idea about the overheat warning lamp flashing?

it could be that the safety system is faulty,i had a very simular problem once before on a mariner,there was nothing wrong with the engine,but still had to check it out at the dealers
