One From Gav 71's Stable??

captain r/e 4 litre omc, the clues at bottom of add it was used for drug running:D

Haktually.............i think you'll find it looks a nice boat!!!

wonder what history they have?

is it gonna be you're new boat then?

just take yours to James at essexboatyards and stick it on brokerage.......then get whatever you want.

Its that kind of bold statement that got me in sh!t!!

James na he would prob give me a bike and say on your way.
Every one knows him if you ever go down there your drive past my house!
I wouldnt mind that bat boat or what ever it was he had ummmm twin 300 mercs

Na its to small i want something massive next 28 foot or bigger so i can do 80mph whilst drinking a cup of tea and watch the telly at the same time

I sort of know James................Dont be fooled by the posh boats they've got in stock now......it wasnt so long ago they were floggin super V's and Glitterflake bowriders from that muddy bog!
He loves a good deal!

That boat with the 300's....a bladerunner was it not?

Taz, you better have some hefty budget to be going that kind of speed. Ask Jon about his 28 Phantom!

That shifts along at a fair ole pace.....with diesels for economy...but i'm sure it dont do 80mph. Its IMHO one fkin awesome piece of workmanship.....and xcertainly cost it tooo!

what you got in mind??????????

........Give it a year and offer Matt lots of $$$$'s for "Fleeting Fumble"...........that likes to mash it through a few waves.........and by the time he comes to sell it, I suspect you'd be able to peform open heart surgery in the cabin; such will be its pristine cond!

BTW you seen that Ring 20 at EBY??? Trios phoned me back with a price about 6hrs before i ws due to head off down to Devon and purchase that Baby!

Matt,

Out of interest m8, what is the performance of DR then?

T|op speed isnt really all that important.......but i can vouch for its blindin rough handelling........as when i was in it Mathew "Capt Dangerous" Yorke insisted in hurtling it towards any ruffstuff!!!

It was very good!

its possible, but as yet im un-decided on which route to take.

Stick a blower on the 7.4 or fit a larger engine.

Id prefer the blown route but we will have to wait and see.

I'd stick with simple.

buy a bigger motor, unless you know where you're at with blowers.
This post is not intended to be a continuation of the 'big power, small engine' thread, mearly advice based on watching others go down the blower route without the nessasary kwowledge, or budget, or both.

Kim Collins, (donzi 30 something)
Roger Severy, (Phantom 28)
Simon Johnston. (Active Thunder 32)

All these have had their pocket money stolen by the 'blower bully'.

Of course I'm not saying it's imposible, or even that I wouldn't give it a go myself, after all, they're very common in the States, just saying be careful, especially fitting one to an older engine, as apposed to a new'n.

Yes i hallucinated that i had a good job, some money and an engine for my boat!

Surely even YOU remember those adds?

You just got to admire Jonny F's Conciseness!
