I may not be Mr P's greatest admirer, but that is what the rescue services are in place for, and I'd rather see hundreds of thousands of pounds spent rescuing a british taxpayer ( and a canadian coz he's not a yank) than to see it wasted on some waste of space asylum seeker or a member of the royal family having another day out courtesy of us and the RAF.
