Is this a linkage issue? Is it supposed to have this much give? And if yes, would it then be a lower unit issue?
I had some grinding trying to get it into reverse before it abruptly failed. Nothing dramatic just sudden. Worked fine a couple of days ago, but didn't engage reverse that day and it was first day of the season.
