Fuel is a bit expensive,
Got a JT8D-7A Pokes out about 5,000HP
for about £30K Needs An FCU & G'Box
Will run on Domestic Heating Oil, Perfect for when the Increase in Red Diesel comes in

But 5000hp is a bit more than I think a P21 could take. :bang: :D

Chaos's is gonna need at least that!

Just how heavy is the Captains Phantom?

Perhaps it would be a good Boatmad competition - put it in the water, take a picture to see where it floats and make your guess!

Yeah, and we'll all be gobsmacked! :drain:

Sorry Loz, only joking

Put it in the dead sea everything floats there :drain:

If the Jt8 is too much got a GTCP85-98 not worked out the HP but I suspect approx 1,000.

The problem as I see it is will it float with the engine attached and Chaos actually in the boat, unknown equation, as this may be the only and I hate to say this Phantom (sorry Steve Baker) that they have probably made.

The solution and it would make it into a twin rig is to buy 2 sets of oars and turn it into a rowing boat, job done

Mr fin, you appear to ahave a rather interesting collection of gas turbines! is there any particular reason for this?

I think I know the answer to that one, and if I'm correct, then the obvious next question is "how big is the back door at work, and what's security like?"
