2022 restored boat with brand new engine. This was my son’s project for the last two years and he is going on to something else. We bought it nearly done (purchase ad attached) and finished it off under guidance from Nick Barsch - multiple OCR UK champion. Our objective was to keep the original patina, a bit like a Singer Porsche, so have everything mechanical and electrical brand new and professionally fitted for complete reliability and safety. It is set up with a Suzuki 140 and a 23’ polished stainless race prop, so it’s fast but not extreme and still very economical on fuel. The engine is still under manufacturer warranty having only been used for 100 hours and being first registered 1/4/2022, the Suzuki warranty is for 1000 hours or 5 years. The boat has been kept inside since completion at Brightlingsea Park and Ride Suzuki agent, they also did the fit out and servicing since. New tyres, wheels refurbished and bearings on the trailer in January 2024 and not been in the water since. Also included are a Lewmar light weight aluminium anchor, warps, first aid kit and fenders. You are welcome to come and have a try out. We have lots more photos documenting the restoration if required, a total of £32k was spent, £21k by us and £11k in the first part of the project.
