The engine weights 260 kg dressed ,the imco 70 kg and a gimbal 20 so thats 350 kg total ,the hull is heavy this because I bought it complete but the wood was terrible and placed totaly wrong was a complete mess and wouldn t servive a 50 hp on the back of it !
The glass work was pretty decent and not thin 6-8 mm so I complete stripped it and put in 2 stringers that are from transom to dash 38 mm thick and then 18mm to the nose .
that we have glassed in whit 7 layers 450/600/450/450/600/450/450 from side to side which add another 6mm on the bottom
the transom we did whit 40 mm wood and 4 layers of glass
the underfloor is 12mm wood and the top floor is 18mm both glassed whit 4 layers of glass
we also place a front bulkhead in of 12 mm whit foam between the hull and deck and it stands all way down in the V .
Hull and deck are bonded whit epoxy (just like all wood )and glassed together whit 5 layers of glass
We build it strongh enough to be safe in the rough and last long whit the power and speed wouldn t be in a flexing boat at 80 +!!
if you hit the side it hurts !it have no weak spots beside the persons in it !
She rides great also in the rough very stable and noting unpredictable very little chain walk easy to steer out that swhy we exaly want fater its to easy !
Yeah that sounds bulletproof!
