I’ve been deliberating posting this ad for a couple of days but now have finally reached a decision and as per the title I have a MkII Phantom 21 package (project for sale)
£3150 ONO
The details as follows:
Original 21 Phantom HIN # 860401
Early 150 V6 Mercury Spares or Repair - (runs but suspected stator issue)
4 wheel trailer
Equipment included:
Ultraflex hydraulic steering complete with wheel
Steering needs through tube rod everything else is complete (temporary rigged with HT threaded rod)
Two fuel tanks (not fitted) with Wema gauges
Aluminium foot throttle (large welded type with bungee)
Instruments fitted not connected -Tacho, Speedo, Temp, Water pressure
Compass
Fire Extinguisher
Manual bilge pump
Electric bilge pump (fitted not connected)
2 X Forward bucket seats
Full set upholstery inc side benches
Bow ballast tank fitted with pick up and empty controls (cable & valves need checking freeing off)
Bow and ski eyes fitted
The floor is mostly sound but there are a couple of soft spots in the battery area
The pictures are to show its genuine condition. I haven’t washed it as the reveal will be someone else’s fun. Some on here will now this boat and where it’s lived for the last few years and some will remember rigging it from new.
I imagine that several P21 owners will have experienced similar but even at this age and in the unwashed condition I couldn’t help but smile with the amount of attention that ‘Phungus’ (our stable name) got just on a little trip down the river for fish and chips. People coming over with ‘wow how fast mate?’ ‘Don’t see many of them now’ Not forgetting a few choice comments about the environment as the 150 sat chuffing away choking seagulls probably at 40:1 ish!
The motor and steering can be split and sold separately if this is useful to anyone.
150 Mercury for spares or repair (NO PROP), controls, instruments and Ultraflex steering, including hoses and steering wheel - £1000
It’s with a degree of reluctance I’m posting this as It’s a project I’ve been looking forward to but due to family health sadly Phungus may have to take one for the team
Thanks for looking and please PM me for further information / questions.
