Hi, I am considering buying my first speedboat.

How does this boat handle with a 500kg 310hp inboard? The boat itself weighs 510 kg. Hard to find info, most run outboards..Will it handle rough sea at speed?

No experience with go fast boats.. In my opinion this should be a "safe" choice? Top speed 60 knots with 454 mpi. These are built for alot more
ccording to owner it goes like a train, no chinewalk etc.

Appreciate any input - and what to look for if buying

Best Regards

If this boat is in Norway, which I think it is, its a Phantom 25 and probably the only one ever built with an inboard engine, As you say, most were built fitted with outboards. However, before buying I would suggest that you really need a trial run before deciding. Having said that, the Phantom 25 hull was well known as a superb rough water boat with many films taken and showing on Youtube. I think the max speed would be about right. As a family fun boat I can't see you going far wrong but I say again, you really need an hour on the sea or fjord to test it to see how it runs and handles.

Its from Norway! I was wondering how many of these where made. So its only one😅 Im not sure thats a good or bad sign.
Appreciate feedback - i will test it thoroughly before making a bid.

Will keep this thread updated if i end up buying.

Cheers
