Due to new business venture, I am having to sell the toys.
I purchased this original Steve Baker Phantom 28 from Lancing Marine last year, it had been with Lancing Marine since new and hadn't been used for around 8-10 years, it is running but scruffy and I had planned to refit it and use it this year.
Hull
28'6 long and 6'6 beam, the vessel is based on Steve Bakers race boat hull design.This is the only hull that was finished off as a full cruiser with a revised deck holding giving increased headroom below and a mounting for a windscreen. The hull is white with a light blue top side.
The forepeak is occupied by a closed compartment that is used as a ballast tank, the next compartment is a roomy v berth / seating and table. There is a sea toilet installed underneath. There is a small space for a cool box and stove either side and a small sink.
The cockpit has standing racing bolster seats and a large rear bench seat and sun platform. There is also plenty of under deck storage for a tender or other items.
The vessel is fitted with a 6 Cylinder diesel 363 C.I Ford 2728 TIM making 345HP at 2800RPM and is connected to a PRM 302 Gearboxes which drives an LM Surface Drive with a bronze cleaver propeller, giving a max speed of 43Knots. Engine runs well and has just been serviced with intercooler cleaned and coolant changed.
The vessel comes with a custom 6 wheel tri-axel trailer.
