Well i think the weather put paid to last weekend.

burn out

a few boats went out for a blast me, chris in his 26 extreme,nick in his 21 phantom, red mist boy's, richard in his 25 phantom ( form malta) had a burn round the harbour out to bournmouth pier and over to studland left me dig cam at home and red mist only had film cam so no pics to post not sure who's about this w/ end

RedMist's hatch flew open after 10 mins and the damage put us out the burnout!!! bummer!!

But Rockey kindly gave us a blast round on the Windy.....

Was a little choppy but a nice sunny afternoon in the end...

RedMist is out of action till we get hatch fixed...

Sorry we didn't make it to Poole - decided the weather forecast was too yucky and Ice Kiddie was suffering from a cold. Next time, though!!

I lost a hatch on windermere from Maelstrom! totally my fault tho'

JF I spoke to tony yesterday and he expalined your little experiment/accident at windermere!!

yes we had it locked but one of the locks had bent and the other slipped as we nailed a wave.....

Luckily it has caused no damage to the hull, there was fiberglass all over the place, but it was all from the hatch and the big hinges had bent.... not even a stress crack in the hull ... shows how thick the layup is I suppose...

it ripped the rams rams clean apart.....

Think were gonna to go for an electric one... that locks it down...

They're OK till you have a flat battery! ,make sure you have a way of getting it up (ooh eer) without the electrics on.
