Antone know of any props going wouldnt mind a chopper or cleaver around a 28 pitch now ive got my new steering i want to see how fast the old cossie will go:brown:

ive got a 26 pitch chopper prop if thats any good.

i'd say that was way too big.
tried a 24 chopper on my mates ring 21 with a 275 cossie and only just reved to 5600. try 1 if you are brave enough but and its a very calm day but i'd suggest something like a 23 laser. my mate is running a high five and its just as good

Don't know a lot about ring 21's but it should rev more than that - either it was very low or that engine was a bit less than 275 IMHO of course ...........

cossie

I know nothing about these engines, but from what I have heard and read they shouldn't be reved over 5 1/2K.
I do know parts are as rare as rocking horse **** though!

Yes so true i dont want my engine reving to 5500rpm cos she will blow, Burty either youre mate didnt have a 275 or he was very lucky.

I want a nice big prop to use some of that torque i have.

Roofer might be intreasted in your prop pm me a price etc

Cheers

engine is mounted on setback plate and is quite high.
think there is something wrong with the carbs because it splutters and bogs down on pull away

Def something wrong there im not bragging but these engines have so much torque my boat jumps and planes so quickly with the 25 laser i have
