Was down at allhallows today and noticed everyone was runiing a norm 3 blade prop i saw 1 high five why dont people fit a proper racing prop like a chopper is it because they take ages to bite?

Taz - what prop(s) are you running??
Cause i have some probs with my HighFive 21" - my Opti runs all the way to the rev limiter..!?!?

I did have a 25 laser 2 but i melted the rubber and threw the prop so now ive got a 24 chopper but i havent tried it yet, I would say u need to borrow a 23 pitch prop to see although engine height and trim takes a big roll

Hmmm you might be on to something - will try my Laser II 21 lster this week and see but i guess i might be looking for a 23" prop..
How was the 25" running?

Saying that my mates got a 225 merc on a fletcher and hes running a 23 laser and never hits the limiter he tops out at 60mph but you gotta remember hes got a big wide ski boat 19ft

Yeah the 25 was good i was sitting at 55 at 5k and was going well over 70mph i would sell it to you but it needs a new rubber special name for it but i forgot doh

Prob because lasers are known to be easy going and quite forgiving.
choppers although slightly faster top end are nasty when backing off and tend to try and throw you out the boat.

I did notice sumthing else today Phantoms are past it. Cant member the name of them long round hulls with wings on da hulls were ruling the roost

send it down to prop revolutions in poole, they will rebush it for you i thinks its only about 30 quid and it wont have the rubber in again so you can use it and not destroy it this time

feck the "Batboat" i would choose the "Phantom" anyday !!!!

something to do with "style" rather than "Bling" :D

I think mine was £65 to rebush. However as you've allready removed the old bush it may be cheaper :D
