Rebuilt engine

The rebuilt engine should be more powerful than the last. The last one one a 225hp 2003 optimax with 250 hrs.

The new one is a 2006 225hp opti but with 250xs ecu, fuel rails, carbon reeds, filters and its had new big ends, small, ends and new rings.

On a 250XS the sizes of the cylinders transferts are far bigger than the stock 225Hp, so when you use a 250XS ECU on a 225powerhead the calculation of the ECU are not in accordance with the ''mecanical side'' you have, may be it's the only reason you cannot acheive the rpm....
