Hi
Just bought a ring 16 bare hull
Got a 90 hp e-tec to fit the back can anybody give me a good pitch size, type off prop to run this on this hull that's used this boat with experience etc not ear say
Thanks
I have run fletchers for more than 30 yrs and know them well ,
the best all round boat for stability skiing family and performance for me are the old 150 arrowsports
The later models are to top heavy and tippy , this boat with 80hp mercury will do 40 45 mph and with a yamaha 115 hp two stroke will do 60 mph with a laser 2 prop
Use less fuel than the 80hp but will sit low in the water with the weight off the engine when parked
have loads more torque but you need to strengthen the transom you can pick these hulls up for a song now
The arrowflash hulls are a good starter boat as the hull is a race design they tend not to go up in the air over waves they always dive down so don't scare newcomers
I have been in a ski club for many years and driven many types off boats , we all have our favourites but sometimes new designs are not better than older ones
Just bought another old arrowsport to restore, as wrecked my old hulls transom over many years off use
