Sad news

On my way up to Coniston on Sunday I received an email from Ben Mazur with the sad news that his wife Miarka had lost her fight against cancer that morning. Many will remember Ben as a competitor & organiser (he was UKOBA manager in the late 90's), He's somewhat of a Powerboating stalwart, and Miarka was invariably at his side as he went about his boating business. He and his family moved back to their home country (the US) a few years ago after 20 years or so living here in the UK.
I'm sure all those who knew Ben & Miarka will join me in offering my deepest condolences to him and their daughter Amanda at this difficult time
