The 2ltr world championships in sweden were won buy Swede Thomas Wrenkler, a well diserved victory as hes been runner up 5 times. He won all three races. His open twister 23 and XS 200 performed faulltlesly through out.

Less luck for the only two british teams entered, Richard white blew an engine whilst leading the first race and was unable to carry on. Roy Smith managed a 5th and two 11th places.

The organisers put on a superb event in a very picturesque setting and all were made most welcome.

Cool! was it flat?

Maybe just rough enough for a good mono to win race 1 but 2 and 3 were flat, very triky navigation between islands. There are 26,000 of them in the archipeligo.
