TABS

BENNET SPORT TABS ARE THE WAY TO GO FOR CHEAP MONEY.
BURTY TOOK P20 OUT YESTERDAY WITH THE NEW CUSTOM APACHE TABS, VERY IMPRESSED KEPT THE NOSE DOWN A TREAT AND MADE THE BOAT FAR EASIER TO DRIVE IN A CHOP.
WILL POST SOME PICS TONIGHT WHEN WE GET THEM BACK FROM BEING POWDER COATED.

If you have the pics powder coated you wont be able to see them now will you!!! Nobba :D

Wheres the pics? Ive been quoted £500 for a st 16 kit but i dont think ive got room on the back off my boat for them might have to use orignal ones and get a pump and new actuators only £200.

Do trim tabs make that much differance?

I'll take the pictures tomorrow. why have you not got room dude? they fit on mine no trouble and i've got loads on the back. bow tank pick up, speedo pick up, engine, tabs bung etc.

and yes they make a hell of a difference, i was amazed.

These are my old ones but new ones are same size

Heres mine seeing yours makes me think i should do some moving about on the back to try fit them in.

How comes you bought new ones that are the same as the old ones?

I'm a bit concerned by the petrol disc cutter sitting on the floor by your boat! :speechles

Yeah thats one of my main tools i cant be without my customers get to meet him if they dont pay! On that day he was busy cutting off that terrible braking system the yanks fit to trailers.

Huh, I'd be a little more concerned by the single cable steering!

Dude you would only have to move your bow tank pick up.
I had the bennett ones like jonny posted earlier but as i have a jack plate we felt they weren't big enough and after seeing the ones on the back of the bernico decided to make bigger ones. however the first attempt weren't strong enough and i broke them first time out so Cyco has made me some beefier ones for free, which i tried on sunday and they are ace and make the world of difference, they have now been removed for powder coating hence why i can't take any pioctures till tomorrow. hope that explains it all.

By the way dude i thought sea star was only rated to 200hp and 60mph?

Cool i have a jack plate to go on my boat wont the st 16 be good enougth with a jackplate?

Should be i have the pro system with the reinforced hoses etc they said it would cope with 300hp not sure about speed.

What system do you have then?

Normal Seastar is rated up to 300hp single outboard or 600hp twin outboards and up to 60mph. Seastar pro is rated for the same power but up to 75mph.

What jack plate have you got dude? 16 inch tabs will work fine but longer ones will work even better.
