What tyre pressures should I use?

145R10's

Two-axle unbraked trailer.

Total weight about 500Kg's

Thanks

twin axles and only 500kg. I would go for low 20's as its not much weight per tyre. My mate has a bike engined westfield that weighs a little over 600KG's with a couple of people and fuel. Its on 13's and he only puts about 22PSI in his as he wore a set of tyres funny due to over inlfating them to the normal sort car pressures, 28/30PSI.

The real problem is that I am an Idiot.

I should have written '2 Wheel trailer', not '2 axle trailer'. :bang:

It's a small Fletcher on a standard trailer.

Thanks for the reply though, my Dutton runs (or used to when it worked) 18psi on 185/70's.

Mini's used to run 145/10's and each tyre was lighter loaded that yours since you've got a ¼ ton on each wheel. Reckon your looking at 30+ish.

Try 30 and see how squidgy it looks.

I wouldn't be to sicientific about it just gor for 28 PSI and see how you get on.

I pumped mine upto 35PSI but at rest my gauge reads about 8PSI :D
