I am trying to locate some new 15inch steel wheels for me trailer need new re-enforced sideway tires as well as the trailer is not twin axel. Struggling to find a supplier on the web and local guys say go to the scrap yard had a look there but it was cold wet and generally horrible. Anyone know of a supplier for new steel wheels.

Actually whilst i am on also seekeing some indespension rollers found them @ £10 each need 16! Anyone know of a cheaper supplier? Preferably NOT black ones as they mark the boat.

i want some alli's for me trailer.......i'd love to know how to find out the stud pattern & offset of the wheels and find what comparable manufacturer does them as stock.

Exactly my problem when in the scarp yard, is there a database online that anyones knows about?

I have just had made a couple of wheel adaptors to take the new alloys wheels. Gone from a four stud to five stud pattern. Try your local machine shop, ir if you are still stuck let me know and I will get a price for a couple. They are made to fit whatever your exsisitng stud pattern and PCD then the new wheel fits into the adpators. This way you can buy whatever wheels take your fancy.

Or you could buy some new multi stud alloys from rochford tyres

They got loads of odd wheels etc

I fought you was on the look out for a new trailer silversurfer?

I fought about the roller idea but now ive decided to make a frame at the back of the trailer with scaffold tubes to be the same width as the boat so all i have to do is get the nose in the goal and hopefully the rest of the boat will follow cos i like driving me boat on, the tubes im going to cover with pipe lagging and im going to mount lights on the top crossbar

I have used rochford a few times, mainly for sorting my Dads & girlfriends fecked alloys.............nice service.

To be honest I`m not sure you will find a multi stud wheel that has a large engough pcd, whether its a four or five stud. Although it will obviuolsy depend on what hubs you have got. Most 8" BRAKED hubs are 5.5" PCD which is a problem if you want to stick aftermarket wheel on.

Sod it just weld the wheel to the hub!

PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) is the measurement (normally in mm these days) across the diameter of an imaginary circle going through the centre of each of the bolt holes.

Offset is the measurement from the centre line of the wheel to the bolt-up face of the wheel.
