would have gone today but Cye is now on holiday and JBD said no. Going to try and go out tomorrow afternnon just need to talk Johnny into it:yawn:

Cool has it ever let you down foul up or run bad? I know you said bout that injector

other than the injector only about 3 weeks ago when the battery went flat and i had to get towed in, didn't realise the charging circuits wern't that good. now i just charge the battery after every 3 times i go out

How bigs your battery then? Ive got a massive one in mine not as big as a lorry battery but pretty big. Didnt realise they were pants at charging so the stator cant really be man enougth to run the fuel pump then!

was you boat unstable at speed without the trim tabs?

My battery is bigger than yours!

Battery is quite big. its 16amps charging on the 260. it only went flat because i've got loads running off it and was playing with it all the time. i.e Fuel pump, tabs, trim, lifter. starting and stopping

boat felt fine but only with water in the bow tank. however the tabs make it feel twice as stable now

Do you use your lifter a lot?
Do you trim the engine up or just lift it up then use the trim tabs?

How big is urs then welsh boy?

I dunno my ruler only goes up to 12 inches!

It's not very big to be honest but it is truly on steroids, it has 900 cold cranking amps and one of the little fkkrs spins our Cat which is a 12.8 ltr V8 deezl

Previously to this we had some real big mothers in which were practically unliftable and not as powerful

use lifter quite a bit. drop it right down for pull aways and real rough stuff, raise it up fonce going along in calmer waters, still use trim loads and always trim in for the corners. use the tabs all the time to balance the boat. and stop it listing to one side when different people/ conditions

I bet it catches you out a bit with all those buttons.

Its hard work at the moment but once i get some hydraulic steering it'll be fine.

Gav do you still want my old stuff?

what u getting seastar?

nope. worries me that it all relies on one M8 bolt. if it were to snap then i'm dead. i'm going to go for a side ram system. i.e marine machine, mayfair, latham.
