Hi guys
After some work on the muffs I have replaced the fuel line to the outboare and made sure the fuel was new with 50:1 mix. I have tried to take it out but now have the following issues..
The engine starts but does not run for very long and dies out unless the bulb is squeezed..
When in neutral the prop seems spin very quickly and feels like engine is in gear??
The throttle box fast idle does not work and whenever forward or reverse is engaged it cuts out.
Outboard is a Yamaha 55 hp BE poss early 90s?
Throttle box is a Yamaha 703 with manual tilt.
Quiksilver tank with new fittings to outboard.
Its being looked at on the 16th but the more I can sort out the less the guy will have to and therefore charge me.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated
