Yamaha F150 AETX
£4200
XL shaft length 25” - 635mm
2004 Model owned by us for the last 18 months. Fuel injection motor which starts well and runs smoothly producing plenty of power.
We’ve only used it for coastal pleasure boating around the Cornish coast. Towing nieces and nephews in ringos etc At the start of last year it had the fuel injection system cleaned due to mid-range power loss and has run well since.
Currently fitted to a (heavyish) 18 ft centre console and will do approx. 39 knots (GPS) @ 5800 rpm
Motor had the following work done at the start of last season including new:
Oil filter
Engine Oil
Water pump impeller
Thermostat
Lower unit lube
It will be supplied with a new genuine cambelt (£100+) – Bought but not yet fitted
Comes complete with:
Digital tacho and looms
704 top mount control box
Ignition switch and loom (not Yamaha)
703 side mount control box (new last year)
Has a 19p alloy propeller (chipped on one blade I think)
Overall a pretty economical motor for our use around the coast and estuaries and only considering replacing as a friend has offered a newer 150 and the boat is being refurbished (when I get around to it)
Engine located in Cornwall
For further information please PM
