It was imported new by Malcolm Cole in about '89, who by performing a less than text book start procedure in Poole in '97 in it, cost TD and I the National championship for that year.

When Malcolm Cole owned it it was always kept inside and had a matching trailer and Ford Lariot to tow it. It was completely re-rigged by Pete Downey about 5 or 6 years ago. Was totally and utterly immaculate as Malcolm was a perfectionist. Couldn't comment now ...

I was always amazed at Malcolms apparent disregard for the laws of physics.
On numerous occasions I witnessed the classic boy-racer trick of giving the motors a jolly good 'Rev' followed instantaneously by the switching off of the ignition by him on his Aronow.
Strangely, he appeared to be regularly burdened by sticking valves (read 'rusted' stems/guides/bores) and the constant subsequent repairs needed.
Surely as an owner of a Dyno house, he, of all people should have known the implications of such a move with motors in whichhe had installed hot cams.

Pantera1, welcome to Boatmad.
The Aronow 32 is priced in £ Sterling, so about US $42,500 at current exchange rates.
I would guess at no more than US$5000 to ship to the US, but don't know about US import duty, or Tax.

Thanks for the welcome Jon ..thats about what I figured for exchange, seems reasonable ..sounds like that boat was real clean, at least at one point. Ive seen a few magic 34's (sorcerer) i think they are called and they are usualy 75000+ US
