Thanks, it'll be real nice when it's upholstered.
It was Mike's idea to create a Bolster style Rear seat as the standard Phantom seats are rather plain and dated. Mike showed me a photo of one of the cats he'd custom painted's rear bolster seat.....Well!!! I had to have one.
So we've built the seat carcase and Pascoe internationals trimmers will probably be doing the upholstering......when I eventually decide on the colour scheme.
Yeah, obviously the bunting was curtacy of Cinzano's Round Irelend Victory when Mike was finishing off it's new paint Job.

Thanks Larby.
And I'm pleased to say the pictures don't actually do it justice either.

Yeah righto!!!
Coz they're the only boatbuilders (or rather splashers) that have ever done Custom Paint Jobs aren't they!!!!
Mike Nickolson was custom painting allsorts of race and pleasure boats in the states and Canada more than twenty five years ago. e.g. Cigarette, Baja, Talon, MTI etc etc.
So I think you'll find they (the Southern med boat splashers :o) were far from the pioneering the idea.
Here's a few pictures from Mikes portfolio.
