Dover Calais 1hr 15m. Dover Dunkirk 2hrs Eurotunnel 35min (if you go Eurotunnel for more than 2 days its cheaper to book 2 x day returns. Ferry is cheapest option !

delivered a boat to hardervijk from Bristol earlier in the year, cost £ 120 ferry and about £ 430 for Diesel. Amsterdam is about a 4 hour drive from Calais.
