I have started on the rear prop. The goal was to cut down the blade similar to a Bravo 1 ear. This was a major change and proved to be positive. The acceleration was significantly improved and the boat will now accept some positive trim. Next is to cut some more area off. Can someone tell me how to post pictures, I have have jpeg files. Thanks.

more carbon
Heres the next things we're working on for Peter.. the air intakes from the flanks of the Hunton.. the weave direction, will of course, match the hatch and engines covers.
This is still the raw flow coated surface on the carbon.. a bit of sanding and some glosscoat and they'll look a bit more spectacular.

Thanks boatnut, as i have been in research and development most of my life trying new stuff is an everyday occurrence for me and doesn't phase me at all... if it did i would probably be a nervous wreck.

Hi All,
Been very busy over the last few weeks and starting to make some real progress some of the new parts are now installed permanently others have been trial fitted holes drilled and then removed ready for final rigging. All the wiring has now been removed ready for a completely new lightweight system, all wire will be tinned and concealed for a very clean look. I have decided to use some hi-tech motor sport batteries which saves around 50 kilos. Spent yesterday cutting out the bow thruster battery box and some cupboards to make some more room, this has removed another 30 kilos from the bow area and given us quite a lot more storage space, have also mocked up the new lightweight dash assembly.

6. there will be a box with upload file from your computer with choose file in it press choose file
7. another box will appear you need to choose desktop here so you can access your pictures
8. press on each file and press upload you will have to wait till each picture uploads
9. you are allowed 10 pictures maximum
10. close window when you have done which will take you back to your text page.
11. scroll down to bottom of your page press submit reply.
Hope this helps....
Carolyn,
Thank you very much for the picture info. I will try and start a separate thread with the pictures of the V24 Batboat project. It has now run in a few events and gotten some exposure. As usual the progress Peter showing is stunning, thank you for sharing.

Hi All,
Made lots more progress having filled in the transducer holes that were originally mounted through the upper spray rails which caused them not to function very well above 40 knots, i have now installed a single removable transducer in the pad quite close to the transom i modified the housing to make it completely flush, also removed the carbon windscreen repair panels as these had started to go yellow with the UV light flatted them of and gave them a couple of coats of two pack-lacquer and a new set of bolts. Transom shields are built up and ready for fitting.

Hi All,
Had a busy few weeks, transom shields are installed permanently and today engines were trial fitted so that i can do most of the rigging and exhaust fabrication, i will then pull them back out finish the paintwork in the bilges then install them for good. Although they are quite close together there is ample working room. I bought the extended bell housings from volvo as they were both cheaper and lighter than making my own from billet. The PCU'S are now mounted on the engines next to the ECU'S so she is getting a completely new wiring system. We are hoping to wake up the trim functions that we believe are dormant on the 435 engine will let you know how this goes.

Hi All,
I have finally reached the nice bit after grinding and painting. The rigging is the most pleasurable part for me and i can see the light at the end of the tunnel
