Another E Bay moment

With the Miami Show looming, and the prospect of photgraphing Jonny and Matt on a spending frenzy, I've had another e bay moment and bought myself another camera!

I'm also bidding on a selection of lenses to compliment it, ready for the forthcoming season and some action shots.

Mind you, if I want to take some photos of the Chaos Phantom in action, I probably could have used me old box brownie!

So Yes, been out doing a sneeky half hours measuring!!!

I've been making meself a parts list of the remaining stuff for it. I wangled a crafty half-hour off work this afternoon and got quoted for the fabrication and high-gloss polishing of a ski pole bracket similar to this (sorry Cye, no original ideas of me own):

Good choice Tony. I bought a D70 last year, it's a cracking camera - and has survived quite a few wave splashes and rain storms already.

If you see a Nikkor AF 70 - 210 F4 -F5.6 on Ebay, buy it. It is very sharp lens and at least half the price of the F2.8 version.

Cheers.

Ian.

Yeah,

Top stuff Tony.

I also bought the D70 last year and have been very impressed with it.

Bought a brand new Nikon AF 70 - 300mm zoom lens over the counter for £119.00! Bloody good value i reckon.
