1st . iwant to try and fit mt pro trim to the ride guide. if i take the lock nut off the back off the helm and remove the long bolt that seems to go right through, to gain access to the bezel. will i ihave problems re fitting it ? will various bits it looks to be holding together fall off.
2nd. i can see how the racks unbolt from the helm but how do i remove the cables from the racks? and how do i refit the cables into the rack.
thanks dan

dude it sounds like you have the decent ride glide system, the pro trim doesnt bolt straight on but you can mod it to fit just take the wheel off and drill and tap 2 holes to mount it. Why do you want to remove the cables? once you have taken the long bolt out there are also 2 short ones holding the 2 racks together you can then take these out and the whole rack comes off one at a time.
does it look like this?
