run in

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me, when running in an engine, is it better to use a shallow pitch prop i.e less strain, or put the intended prop on so the engine configures itself to a higher pitch?
Tryin not to take any chances on this one!

ive always my normal prop. just make sure you dont go revving the tits off it and also make sure you vary the revs and switch off every 30mins for 10mins to vary the heat in the block

The worst thing you can do is run in at too low a rev. Don't go below 2000-2500 for any length of time.
Made that mistake once.
Prop won't really matter as long as you don't rev the nuts off it but you won't as you'll be running in.
