XR2 Jets
Hi all,
Just got my engine back with running in jets 0.74" appartently have to use these for the first 7 hours. My question is what size jets should i use after that to get the most speed out of my engine?
Also have a Susuki V4 two stroke 100HP engine and want a new prop for it which pitch should I be looking for think it revs to 5,600 @ the moment?
Stewart

What do you get out of the ring 16? We used to have a 90 Yam on the phantom 16 42-43mph then changed the Prop for a Ballasitic and got 48mph out of it raised the engine as well. But Couldnt water ski behind it anymore at that height.

That seems slow! A race P16/90 Yam should do more like 55mph I would have thought.
Ciao would have a more accurate idea of it....over to you John.

Dunno what speed, it's not finished yet. I was hoping to see 45, maybe 50mph which to be honest is more than enough for what I want it for. The problem is, I've still got that little voice telling me to change the order to a 175 before it's too late. I don't know how true it is, but I've been told they do 75mph+ with one of those.

What ever they come with new. Wouldnt put a 175 on a ring 16 though mate. No more than a 115. 90HP will be fun.
