Something to while away the time waiting for the next instalment......
A mother was working in the kitchen, listening to her five-year-old son playing with his new electric train set in the living room.
She heard the train stop and her son saying, 'All of You B*****ds who want off, get the f**k off now, cause we're in a hurry! And all of you B*****ds who are getting on, get the f**k on, cause we're going down the tracks'.
The horrified mother went in and told her son, 'We don't Use that kind of language in this house. Now I want you to go to your room and stay there for TWO HOURS.
When you come out, you may play with your train, but I want you to use nice language.'
Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and resumed Playing with his train. Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say, 'All passengers who are disembarking the train, please remember to take all of your belongings with you.
We thank you for travelling with us today and hope your trip was a pleasant one.'
She hears the little boy continue,
'For those of you just boarding, we ask you to stow all of your hand luggage under your seat. Remember, there is no smoking on the train.
We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us Today.'
As the mother began to smile, the child added............
'For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the fat bitch in the kitchen.'

All 4 props were good. One of the rudders definitely had a touch of 'home brew' about it. Someone had been at it with a grinder and the guy with the polishing kit clearly doesn't work on Sundays.
Given that it had been in contact with the submarine barrier, it looked ok. I was about to take a pic of it, but the crew/lorry drivers turned up and I didn't fancy waking up with a horse's head in my bed

Hi,
FPT was pulled out at Campers at same time we were - Apache / Lancing also hit the barrier at slow speed - will show pictures elsewhere.
When we arrived they were out of the water looking at the damage - we were holed so they put FPT back in got us out an then FPT back out. FPT & FB were really helpful with our own issue despite there race being ruined and wanting to repair.
The FPT team lead by Fabio were very calm & professional as you woul expect and just worked out how to solve the problem - they found a local engineer near by. The Rudder stock casting was 25 yr old so they had no parts & FB did not want to weld.
Plus the engines overheated from lack of cooling - heard the Turbos needed changing - don't know what else.

Ironicaly I was looking at those spare props on each side of the power-train at Gunwharf only Friday. No spare rudder unfortunately.

The Jf Experience
Congratulations on getting round after all that slog and frustration.I would imagine it all went better than you dared hope a week ago.
