It was fairly flat on Saturday. A biggish leg further out with some messy mixed beam waves which did a lot of damage. It was harder than it looked surprisingly.
Sunday was horrendous, again just pretty mixed up and very beamy with some large head sea near the harbour making one of the tight turns a bit hair raising at times! Not sure of wave height....3metres maybe? So not huge but enough at those speeds to make finishing a challenge! I think everyone broke something but it was outstanding racing.
I don't think the CUV is Follett cars, is'nt that in the UK now? I think its one of the Italian CUV's.

That does sound like exciting racing, hope the engine damage is easily repaired and wont cause concern in the final round...will look forward to the TV screening on sky, a great win
PS...I am just off for a run around the bay, did you both try the go gel on a run

ForOne race report Zeebrugge Powerboat grand-prix.
Flanders Offshore Racing finished 5th. on the Saturday endurance P1 at Zeebrugge.
With a smooth N.O wind force 2-3 we where ready for 10 laps with a total distance of
79.5 Nautical Miles.
The startprocedure was a straight line towards the F marker where all competitors has choosen
a posistion behind the Q-8 startboat. Halfway we had the green flag and the battle could begin to take
the first turn at the F marker. After 1 lap we already left the
Malteze (********) - Naue Racing (Germany) and the Chinese (Ocean Dragon) behind us.
After the second lap Buzzi Bullet had a minor fire onboard due the flairbox ignited. For 3 rounds
the Chinese entry Ocean dragon and us played a cat and mice game where we could
cut their corners time after time. Eventualy the gearbox of Ocean dragon blew up so we would try
and hold the 5th posistion with Malta (********) on our tail. As the weatherconditions where rather
easy we had to let go former worldchampions "EXTREMEBOAT" with Jacky and Mike , also VOOMVOOM - SUNSEEKER and the fast new
41 ft ******** from the italian team "Roscioli Hotels Roma" The paradelap before the startlap wad kinda fast
with an average 59 speed, this was not what we expected and used more fuel then we tought. At the end of the race this resulted that we ran out just 150 ft before the finishline... hartbeated we saw buzzi bullet and ******** approaching, Kris pumped all the left overs we had to starboard engine and Gino could start and afterall finish without losing 5th position.
Ranking
os. - No. - Boat Name - Nationality - Points
1. - 01 - Extremeboat - British - 100
2. - 44 - Roscioli Hotels Roma - Italian - 80
3. - 07 - VoomVoom.com - British - 60
4. - 11 - Team Sunseeker - British - 50
5. - 33 - ForONE - Belgian - 40 (Wild Card)
6. - 0 - Naue Racing - German - 30 (Wild Card)
7. - 46 - ******** 2 - Maltese - 20
8. - 47 - Buzzi Bullet - British - 10
08 - Sun Lik Beer - Chinese - DNF
The Sundayrace we had to retire after a broken trimpump already after the paradelap, a sad moment as we wanted to give our Belgian spectators a nice race,
we had the perfect ribconditions for our now retired ForTWO rib. Still I want to end this report with a positive note...
our new Osprey "Condor" rib is on it's way to our race stables and hope we can have a good virgin race with her in Portugal end this month.
We also wanted to thank each supporter who watched the race on Saterday & Sunday and all our co-worker who made a nice event P1
on our home seas and Belgian soil. Special thanks go out to: All our Rib chartering pilots - rescue - buoyboats - yachtowners - Limousine and driver - coordinators - Mechanic - logistic - teammanager - Cameracrew - Helipilot - fotographers en last but not least our sponsors.
edited: oh this is funny :-) Malteze (********) ok... Malteze (phantom)

Holy s**t is right - wow!.
It will never cease to amaze me that 99% of the time, boats end the right way up.

Noticed today the Outerlimits powerboat team are missing from the P1 web site, does this mean they are not racing in the final? if so and the diesel evolution boats fail to show as well things will look a little depleted out there on the start in Portugal it will then be up to supersport to put on a great show for the spectators, I really hope they manage to sort out any problems arising in there championships
