Sponsorship form
As in previous years one of the main aims of this year’s Annie Beakhust Memorial race is to raise money for Cancer Research and other local Cancer Charities, this is normally done in two ways, a raffle/auction at the Saturday night function and via race sponsorship, so please find attached this year’s sponsorship form, please try to get your race sponsored per lap or mile, forms should be handed in to race control on the 18th June, the following two trophies are awarded for this sponsorship:-
Teachers Assurance Challenge Trophy - most sponsors achieved
RS Hoare Memorial Trophy - most sponsorship money achieved

Well done to K4+ Adam Younger.
Adams entry is the first to arrive at the RMYC taking advantage of the early entry discount for the Class III, V24 & Club races.
Who's going to be next ???

Many thanks and looking forward to a great event.
Really should be seeing everyone who can entering this race out of respect to Annie - a big turn out would in my opinion be the best way to show respect and thanks to someone who did so much for our sport.
If you are going to do one race this year - make it this one...

Well we are now halfway into the Marathon prepay entry period, and 6 out of the 13 Marathon boats that nominated to race have paid, so we are on track, but it would be nice for the other 7 to send their entry to the RYA before the 6th May deadline.
Interest is also increasing from the other classes, so please make sure you get your entries to the RMYC before the 6th May to take advantage of the pre entry discount.

Plans are progressing for the Saturday night Charity Party at Lake Yard, Robin Culpan is digging out all his old photo’s of powerboat racing in Poole, some of this material has not seen the light of day for many years, the food would be best described as a Lake Yard Feast and we are hoping to keep the ticket price between £15 & £20. The dress code will be Team Apparel, with prizes being awarded for historic wear for each decade from the 60’s onwards, so as it’s spring it could be time to start looking in the loft or the back of the wardrobe for all that old race wear.

RMYC Perpetual Trophies
Will give you all an update later in the week on entries, but can anyone help locate any of the RMYC Perpetual trophies, one is the Patsy Challener Memorial Trophy, this is presented for the best prepared at race control (that rules out 99% of you !!!), please PM or contact me if you have any of our trophies.
Thanks Bob
