Still under protest - Richard White, Bob Irwin, Brian Peedel - It's just the order that still needs sorting out!

Erm no - he was behind me, and I was the third RIB home - Richard Strawford was close to them as well with his new Evinrude 200 HO - bloody marvellous, I'm now racing against a 3.3 litre, 220hp engine, and all I've got is a 200 (barely!) HP 2 litre, the only chance I've got is the saddle breaking in a rough race, and he strengthened that before fitting it!

Sorry I don't have the results - I just wanted to leave before saying something I shouldn't - had to resort to threats of multiple protests to sort out the results that were relevant to me - the race office in the yacht club was full of disgruntled people and spilling out tinto the coridoor!
Ok then Quote me happy Tony - I know where there is one of allegedly only 3 in the country at the moment!
Trouble is I have a habit of breaking saddles and it could get costly if the electronics got wet/damaged .............

All the results at the moment are subject to protest, but as they stand at the moment they are

Class 3 2ltr
1st Richard C-2 2nd CB1 C-12, 3rd Ian Stirling C-11
Ribs
1st Richard Strawford, 2nd Excalaber another Ocke hull, 3rd Cookee

The actuall finishing sequence was
1st C-13 Rhino, 2nd C-57 Dyno Bob, 3rd CB1 C-12, 4th R-13, 5th C2.
This is where the problem lies the protest is, C2 is saying that the first 2 boats missed out a long lap and apparently the sequence sheets on the mark backs this up. So its all up in the air at the moment. So much so that they didnt present any of the perpetual trophies on the posted results. Watch this space!!!

So what you need is, a 3.3 litre Rude, and a weeks tuition from Neil.

Is it any wonder this sport is going backwards? They can't even get a set of race results for the Monday paper.
I am pretty sure that trophies should be presented, under protest, and then long winded talks, lawyers, court, fights etc ensue over the next few days.
At least the press, spectators are fooled into thinking they have seen the winner - isnt that how F1 does it? Jenson springs to mind recently.

Some podium pics... You'll have to fill in your own captions as I dunno who's who, can't even remember what race/class order either! The professional photographers obviously don't need to feel threatened by my efforts
