Hi KIm,
I'VE JUST TRIED IT WITH A "bmp" EXTENSION and it works for me.
Is your "Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?" under your CP options set to Yes, it might be it although that shold only effect viewing , have a look .

BMP's dont work for some reason jpg's do . How about you |Matt
Willow, I've looked at cris's old posts and they're JPG's also, so he must be "save as" in your picture editor software and chosing JPG in the file box.
Why don't ya try that - Matts pic above is a JPG
