Hi everyone I am back at work at last after spending the weekend in Fareham, it was pleasure meeting you all again those I have meet earlier and nice seeing new faces behind their names on this fantastic forum which defenately makes the world smaller and brings people together around this interest. Kathleen and Paul thank you for your generous hospitality during the stay and Paul and Steve you where great chefs at the BBQ maybe I should hire you two to do spring BBQ over here soon !!! It´s nice to meet both bosses again JF and JK both of you are doing great jobs in keeping us together wherever we are located around the world. Richard and Louise many many thanks for picking me up at Heathrow and getting me safe and sound back especially after the ride back to Soton I barely could move myself out of the aircraft although flying on business class with plenty of legspace and wide seat. I definately needs to start exercising to be satisfactory fit again. Ian and Deborah congratulation with Black Jack it was great ride from Soton to Portsmouth and I wish you all the best for your endevour. Suzuki Pete nice meeting you and I will find some extreme modified Vitara´s over here just to show you how to do things professionally not like yours "sledge 4x4" with only 29" tires which is only a mini tires. Wavehumper you are definately married to Dane "Scandinavian" with good humour. Again my sincere thanks to "my other mum and dad" for taking good care of me over the weekend and sorry "mum" I completely forgot to congratulate you on Mothers day, but as we say over here better is late than never so HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Bogi

Statistical Analysis (for all the fekkin data freaks)

Forgot...4 guests qualified as hardboaters...as well as Boss & Mrs. there was gypsy & a well-known narrowboater ( whom I recently clocked on the Thames doing 60 knots rushing home for his tea...)

All of which prompted me to do an analysis of the weekend events...

Guests at Paddy’s Day BBQ 35
Houseguests 11
Attempts to wear Green 90%
Ribstas 19
Hboats 4 (including narrow performance boats)
Adoptees 3
Nobbers 25%
Flame – Haired Celtish lookin types 3
Bottle Blondes 4
People who actually went out in the worst conditions ever…13 (oooops )
Mashed props 1
Children 5
Kids at heart 35
Peeps who didn’t give a damn about boats 12
Innocent toys ascribed with dodgy purposes 3 (including the kangaroo that made Gypsy amorous)
Longest distance ever travelled for a BBQ (Bulgaria / Bogib)
Winner of the 'morning person' award Suzuki Pete

If I think of any more I'll do a complete report
