How cool is that! I'd like an rc model boat.
I used to build rc model aeroplanes, in my 'retirement file' I've got a set of plans for a 10' wingspan shorts sunderland and a 10' long XB-70 Valkyrie.

I had two planes as well the last one was a microlite didnt have much luck with them. Had a hornet car with 911 body 13 tripple motor and modified speed controller.
Also have got a electric boat that i heavily modified.
Heres some pics of the Mods on my Nitro Vee!

A model boat was the first thing I built, aged about 10. Started off with a 540 motah and a homemade RC. Complete disaster, so I retrofitted a 10cc aero engine to turn it into an airboat, it planed at idle, every time you touched the throttle the torque rolled it over. Dunno why I never chucked it out, but it's still in my loft:
