Bounty Hunter

Just came across this old photo from Cowes showing the Bounty Hunter bubbledeck cigarette.

Was such an excitement in those days. Always started with Ray Bulman's Motorboat & Yachting' preview - then had to wait and see who really turned up!

Also in Shot: Limit up 40', McQueen Jeans, Miss Pearlcorder, Miss Four Seasons Roofing.

(Interesting to see the changes to Cowes - pre marine walls, ferry terminal still allowing car ferries to stop at West Cowes.)

Meynard in 1979 after purchasing the 39' from Martin came in Europe chasing points for a possible qualification to the World Cup which would be held in Venice in October of the same year.
He participated in the two English races only getting retreats and then came second behind the CUV 38 'De Angelis in the Costa Smeralda in September. And thus ended the European adventure for the Canadian.
