I can't. The ebay seller has no concept of what the boats he's selling are worth and he's manipulating the price beyond what any real purchasers are prepared to pay.

Blinddog
I've been out bid today, seller has changed to private not showing the bidders ID now.
Thats no fun.
Not worth a fraction of the sellers thoughts, he must have been on drugs thinking its worth £20-25,000.

Hi PASH
I had one exaclty the same C81 EX Tony Hamiltons boat sold it 2 years ago for £400, by this age its hard to get one that does not need a great deal of work cos you have to remember that it is wood,
As far as Ebay if you are serious about anything only bid in the last 10 seconds as all you are doing is jacking up the price for the seller.
Blind dog and i were just aving a laugh with the ad coz he know i would rise to the occasion.
I here you have a RS 500 , i had one a few years ago, fantastic car.
very collectable now.
Good luck with your bidding.

I dont want the boat just the drugs inside her....
but thought for £1500 it was worth a punt...
mmmmmm the RS500 its an ex works group "A" rally car fantastic for tarmac rallies but not much cop for gravel rallies - way too much horse power. bought it direct from ford, a good car but ive driven better, very tail happy so makes for good t.v.

Scuse the ignorance, but is a chris lewis built engine a good thing? I thought I heard some bad reports about his engines, or is that a mix up?

Sometimes you push them too far though
but that then gives you the chance to get a proper one

The 3 door cossies always looked the best, i do remember my mate having to reshell his after putting it in a field.
I remember them running in the touring cars, there's me just showing my age again.

If you liked them running in Touring cars, then you'll enjoy this.
I was there for the race, and it was awesome, but unlikely to ever happen again.
