Cheers Tony but I got a cracking deal on the diverters, $250 for some new old stock; I will take the hit on the hose! I know I only need a short length to cut into bits, any advice on cutting it up? I understand its a pain due to the wire imbedded.

The hose suppliers will have a nice big chop saw that slices cleanly through it. If you know the sizes, they should be able to cut it for you. Otherwise it's a hacksaw job and wire cutters for the reinforcement.

Cutting reinforced rubber hose

You can buy 1mm thick cutting disks for a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder, will make a bit of smoke with the rubber but they cut stainless like butter and make a realy neat cut. Made by Wurth Automotive, Dronco or most tool suppliers will get hold of them. If you get stuck PM me your address and will stick a couple in the post.

Regards David

cheers guys and your suggestion David but I dont have an angle grinder. The way forward will be to find a supplier who is prepared to cut the pieces nice and neat and to size.
