Bladerun 2007
Don't how many of you have noticed the banner for the Blade run, but it kicks off in a months time. This time it's running to Amsterdam.
Who's doing it? are you involved again this year Marc?
London-Amsterdam sounds like quite a nice jaunt if the weather's kind, I'm sure there'll be some good laughs to be had.

Bandit- checked out your Round Britain Web-site, looking good.
Tricky- looking forward to seeing you on the starting grid.
We had great fun with Ray, Hillary and Mike looking into the London Montecarlo which we documented and loaded onto the video tab of the www.bladerun.com web-site. There is some awesome footage from an awesome event. There will be a new Pilot every week leading up to the BladeRun so keep an eye out!

RB8 has now teamed up with Blade Run to promote the sport. Great news the Blade Run site and PR seems to be working well now.

BladeRun have also very kindly done a pilot youtube featuring the RB08 and the earlier RB's. Knowing them as I do now it should make for good viewing.
About six months ago Tim Powell gave me two BIG cans of 16mm film footage from the 1969 RB race. No one has seen this footage for some 30 years and no one knows whats on them except that it is 1969 RB filming but by whom again, no one knows, not even Tim. They had been in his loft for all those years.
I am having them professionally transffered to DVD as they are apparently getting dangerously fragile. It's costing a lot of money to do and the RYA are helping to part fund it as it is part of our sports heritage and must be done. Can't wait to see what's on them and, they are now our property!!

How on earth did you get our logo onto the side of your race wagon Bandit? Certainly looks good though!
