The XR2 UIM homologation expiry in march 2010, that it's the end for the XR2.
And for me the french organiser can not said ok for this outboard.
I'm know that it's very difficult for a lot of people, But it is very difficult to organize runnings(races) and more particularly there in meditterean sea has cause of the pressure of the ecological organization.
That is why the disappearance of XR2 must not be taken as a punishment but as a bend for the powerboat which has to turn to the use of appropriate clean engine.

That looks like a nice place to race!!
How many of the boats in the 3c world championship AREN'T running XR2s then? Looks like a hefty expense to get a 200xs
