Its on ebay at the moment, looks like a very sad boat, but I m sure with a bit (a lot) of work it could be made a nice boat.

I'm sure that I have seen it in at Lyme Regis in the past, possibly from Seaton.

It looked immaculate the last time it appeared.

Looks in a sorry state now though.

Only on 102 at the moment!

There more pics on ebay, I would post a link but my ebay links never work! Just search for extreme 26. I believe it was stored in a warehouse where there was a fire, hence its state. The Yanmar lump has been removed. Heres the link anyway, not that it will work!:

How would you go about repairing the blistered gelcoat ?

And

Could the heat have damaged the matting structure below ?

If the gelcoat is blistered then the heat the fire has generated would have been fookin hot!
When any type of plastic is heated it softens, then cures again, its what happens inbetween is the problem! Distortion, de- laminating etc etc.
Best thing to do is buy a new one off TD!!

looking at the pics on ebay most of the gell on the deck is knackered, it would cost more to repair than new hull/deck mouldings.

Insurance companies dont throw money away it was a write off for a reason, Gav has summed it up well.
Think anybody will be spending a wad on something that at the end of the day might not be sound. Anything worth taking has gone already (motor & drive)+ trailer
Still nowt wrong on sticking it on ebay saves paying somebody to take it away no misrepresentaion in the add what so ever
WIZZY WIG apart from the drive and you even get a few quid back
