Hi as if you cant tell by the hour of posting but i have been having a few drinks, with my Dad and we were chatting about a power boat we used to have in the early 90s. neither of us could remeber what it was. out came the photo albums eventualy found it was a Baretta Phaser 230. confusing because my dad thought it was some sort of Picton. shows you how much he remembers lol. anyway having not seen a boat in the uk like it since we were wondering where it had ended up? being rare in these parts dos anyone remeber it? it was called fire bird in red (like the pic but not ours) anyone seen it?

I own a Baretta Phaser 230.
Fast Smooth and a good boat.
Few out there. Baretta had QC problems.
the BP230 was the minority in that it was well built.
It is still churning up the water.
Built in USA in Arkansas. Builder did not last long.
I own a Baretta Phaser 230 to.
A 1989 with a tuned chevy 350 (VP 271)+ a VP duoprop.
It looks just like your picture and it easely does 65 mph with 4 p onboard.
Realy nice boat that can take a lot of punishment
