Yes, I have a mono. Doesn't mean Ciao is the only person to ever sit in a cat.
I need to look at original pics, one of em is Geoff, other is probably John Fay. (of 'Fays One' fame)
Camera was but a wee snap camera Olympus Mju I think. it was dusk, any slower shutter speed would have certainly produced a blurred image.
I took that second pic too! that was one of our UAE flight crew on the left.
We had them with rugs, on the deck, praying in the apropriate direction, at the apropriate time, at 26000 feet...bizzar!

I tried to take some pics of it coming out of the Hercules in Abu Dhabi, but it was a military airport (or at least the military end of the airport) and weilding a camera didn't go down too well! I only got it back when they realised (they being the corrupt military wankers in the airport) realised who we were there to race for, then they were virtually kneeling in front of us, asking that we understand why they took it. very funny indeed. camera had no film in it when it was given back though.

Naviguesser.
Whilst out there, Geoff drove (& foot throttled) and a few diferent folk naved, including me, John fay, and Steve Curtis. I was engineer and occasional nav.
I have a wonderfully camp and embarrasing picture of Steve somewhere, when I find the pics, I'll post it.
