No mate I meant it for the guy who is asking about racing experiences.
Or pay a couple of mates £500 to kick you in the body for an hour.

Ditto Mikko re RB08 - we drove the B28 with the driver having throttles, trim and jack plate to play with. The only gauges the driver had were the tachos and trim/jack with the nav in charge of fuel pressure, water pressure and engine temperature. Ballast tank controls and fuel transfer pumps were also with the nav. Worked well for us, but admittedly it would be difficult for the nav to throttle sitting tandem!

Handthrottles, ballasttank, trim, tabs, steering, instruments - everything. Have the controls designed for that. No problems in a marathonboat. You turn three times, to the right, round Britain and a few more to MonteCarlo...

While driving I had 2 throttle guys both great mates but one was better than the other.
You have to have confidence and respect for each other. Remember any one can push those levers forward.

Erm - wasnt really referring to ski boats with a couple of hundred horses. I know what its like to drive one of those...
More interested in what it must be like to run a big offshore race boat like the old class 1 and 2s or big marathon boats.

You say you have driven a ski boat with a couple of hundred horses, but have you ever been on a start run? Even in a 'ski boat'? Still a racing sensation.
I would suggest buying a copy of searace. Could be just what you are looking for mate.
